CHICAGO – To encourage residents to shop small this holiday season, state Rep. Lakesia Collins, D-Chicago, is highlighting Small Business Saturday as an opportunity to support the businesses that serve the community.
“Small businesses makeup the backbone of our community,” said Collins, “Small Business Saturday is a great opportunity to invest in our local businesses and restaurants while finishing up your holiday shopping.”
Small Business Saturday ensures that shoppers can focus on supporting their local small businesses during the busy holiday season. Small Business Saturday will be held on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021. Collins is encouraging residents to shop both in person at brick-and-mortar stores and support local businesses through online sales.
